Thank you for your interest in a Civil Air Patrol License Plate. 

You must meet the following to qualify for a CAP License Plate:

• You must be a current member in good standing

                                             OR

• You must have a current member in good standing in your immediate family  (Ex. parents of cadets)

You must also meet the criteria set forth by NJ Motor Vehicle Commission and state law regarding specialty plates:

You are not eligible if you have had any of the following convictions in the last 10 years:

• DUI or refusing to take a breathalyser test
• Reckless driving

You are not eligible if you have had your driving privilege revoked or suspended for any reason within the past 2 years.

You can never be issued specialty plates if you have ever been convicted of:

• Death by auto or vessel
